Acts 1: 15-17, 21-26

This week's readings are all about trust. Trusting God to show the way community should be shaped, trust¬ing God to hold us in adversity, trusting the truth of God in Jesus and trusting that whatever happens we are never alone. As we trust God and each other, we experience the trust of God and others in us.

There is a powerful thread of call woven though each of this week's texts. The call to be faithful to the roots of Judaism, to be courageous in following Jesus, to be grounded in the love and presence of God, and to live truth-telling lives. Which of the calls in this week's texts most resonates with you at this point in your life of faith?
